Lyra: I'm here. What do you want to discover today?

Hi, I'm Lyra, your guide through this portfolio.

My story

The path,
the mistakes, the vision.

Academic and professional journey
2021
UMSS
Universidad Mayor de San Simón / Systems Engineering / Solid mathematical and logical foundation: Calculus, Algorithms, Data Structures, Databases, Object-Oriented Programming, Stacks, Queues, Recursion, and Modeling. A degree I put on pause to take a more practice-focused path — with no regrets about what I built there, or the friends I made along the way.
2022
Solaning S.R.L + Quick Company
First real professional contact / Intensive 8-month program. SPAs with Angular and TypeScript, OOP, advanced SQL, Node.js, team leadership, and technical communication. Degree: Web Pages and Web Applications Development. Completed with a 4-month internship at Quick, where the code had to work in production — not just in class.
2023 — Present
Jala University
Commercial Software Development Engineering with a specialization in Software Architecture / Program aligned with real industry standards. Full Stack, Software Architecture, CI/CD, Testing, Architectural Thinking, Scalable Systems, Microservices, and professional Debugging. A degree designed so that your first day at work isn't the first day you solve a real problem.
The beginning
I started without knowing if I was cut out for this
There were moments when I thought it wasn't for me. Impostor syndrome is real and I felt it hard. But day by day, line by line, something changed. I realized that doubt doesn't disappear — you learn to build in spite of it.
The mistakes
I fell many times. I learned more than I ever imagined.
Systems that didn't scale. Technical decisions that cost weeks. Projects that didn't reach where they should have. Each of those mistakes built judgment that no class can teach. The mistake isn't the problem — it's the raw material.
JALA University
Technical training with real demands
A degree designed to produce engineers who solve problems from day one. Not theory disconnected from reality, but purposeful practice with industry standards. This is where architectural thinking is forged — not just code.
The AI era
What was once impossible is now accessible
We live in a moment where what once required a team of ten people and months of work can now be done in weeks with the right planning. That change doesn't scare me — it excites me. It's the greatest opportunity that has ever existed to build without asking for permission.
Today
Building what was once unthinkable to afford
I work with people who have valid ideas but not million-dollar budgets. My goal is to make sure that's not an obstacle. Technology democratized access. I democratize execution.
Tomorrow
Products that generate real impact
I want to build projects that solve real people's problems. Not accumulate features or clients, but create things that concretely change something in the life of whoever uses them. That's the north star. Everything else is noise.

Why I build what I build

It's not the code. It's what it enables.

I'm passionate about creating systems that solve things
I don't build for the sake of building. I build because behind every system there's a real problem someone has to deal with every single day. When that problem disappears because of something I made, that's priceless. That's the reason I keep going.
Democratizing what used to be only for the big players
There was a time when only companies with millions could afford solid, scalable systems. That time is over. My job is to make sure valid ideas don't die from a lack of technical or financial resources.
Tool-agnostic, result-obsessed
I don't defend technologies, I defend solutions. If the problem is best solved with a simple architecture, I use that. If it needs to scale to hundreds of thousands of users, I design for that. Technology is the means, never the end.
Transparency and clarity above all
Many of the people looking for a developer aren't technical. Part of my job is translating technical language into human language, being honest when something isn't viable, and delivering on what I promise. No smoke, no excuses.
